This product is for use in drilling wood only.
Large heads (1-3/4" and larger) should only be run in low speed or low gear. Small heads (1-1/2" and smaller) may be run at high speed.
To avoid injury, the use of safety glasses and safety equipment when using cutting tools is highly recommended.

This product is for use in drilling metal only.
To avoid injury, the use of safety glasses and safety equipment when using cutting tools is highly recommended. Never use the Steel Eater or any other drill bit when working with live power. Drilling into live electrical boxes can cause serious injury or death to operator.
Caution: when using self-feeding bits to prevent binding, both tool and workpiece must be braced before drilling. A moving bit may jam and cause power tool to spin in direction opposite that of bit rotation.
